ALISON TAUPIER Co-Founder

Alison Taupier is an award-winning documentary film director, writer, and producer. She began her career as a fashion designer before moving to Los Angeles. She worked as a stylist and costume designer in film and television prior to producing the award winning short ‘Big Wheel’.

Her directorial debut, the documentary short, ‘BOBCATS ON THREE’, premiered at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2020, and went on to win awards at Pasadena International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Festival and the Best Shorts Competition.

Subsequent credits include, as a producer, ‘The Big Empty’, ‘Tripping’, a documentary on Ken Kesey, the F1 documentary ‘1: Life on the Limit’ and ‘Mosley’, on the life of Max Mosley.

MICHAEL SHEVLOFF Co-Founder

Michael Shevloff is an award-winning television, film, and documentary producer. Michael began his career in England working on feature films such as ‘Empire of the Sun’ and ‘Full Metal Jacket’. After moving to Los Angeles, Michael produced a series of independent films including the Sundance hit, ‘Bandwagon’, ‘The Big Empty’, and ‘La Cucaracha.’

As EIC of Production for Rocket Science Laboratories, Michael served as a producer on documentaries such as ‘Dial H For Hitchcock’, ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, ‘Tripping’ - a documentary on Ken Kesey, the Emmy nominated ‘Assassinated: Last Days of King & Kennedy’, and ‘Images of Life: Photographs That Changed The World', for which he won an Emmy.

Michael served as Executive Producer on the TV series ‘Temptation Island’ and ‘Nanny 911’, as well as ‘Expedition: Africa’ and ‘Top Gear USA’. He produced the Formula 1 documentary, ‘1: Life On The Limit’. Michael’s directorial debut, ‘MOSLEY’, is a documentary on the life of Max Mosley.

SASHA ROSS Archival Producer

Sasha Ross began her career in music publishing, where she worked closely with artists like Johnny Cash, Iggy Pop, Kings of Leon and the estate of Willie Dixon to facilitate the use of their music in film and television. 

These days Sasha puts her research and licensing skills to work for documentary films, including the Emmy-winning “Girls On The Wall,” “For Madmen Only” and the upcoming release “Nicholas Brothers: Stormy Weather,” premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Ross is also a fiber artist of some note. Her work has appeared in films including “Five Year Engagement,” and she has completed large-scale art installations commissioned by Nike and the city of Beverly Hills. 

ZACH TAYLOR Coordinator

Zach Taylor is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and TV who began his career in Los Angeles on the sets of shows like Selling Sunset and NFL Honors

Prior to the pandemic, Zach was fortunate enough to shoot independent documentary films across the US, Europe, and Asia and has now found a home at Flat-Out Films, working under Michael and Alison to make top-tier films, beginning with “Nicholas Brothers: Stormy Weather” to premiere at Tribeca Film Festival this summer.
